Off to Norway!

Andrew wasn't the only one having fun in wild west costumes this summer. Alexa and Sarah, for whom it had become routine to show together, found out about the KSS EME and were immediately excited.
After reading the show site over, they were faced with a problem. Sarah's show horse, Stella, was timid as can be and loud noises set her off. The event would be full of guns and canons. The issue was easily remedied when Alexa offered her thoroughbred mare, Down the Line to take Stellas place. Class Snowman Joust

pppfffff xD KEhaar looks absolutely demonic here.

Kehaar turned to sniff curiously at his new, silky blanket. He whickered gently and nudged Alexa's shoulder as she cinched the girth.
"What?" ALexa smiled and glanced at the stallion. Kehaar made light grumbling noises in his throat while she adjusted her stirrups.
"Don't you like your new tack?" Just a month ago, Victoria had ordered Kehaar a new saddle, blankets and bridle. The tack was lighter and more functional than his usual heavy dragon hunting tack, but provided better performance than his daily tack.
Alexa checked her watch. It was already 1:54. She shivered at the cold and slammed the door of the horse trailer.
Kehaar watched her with bright, golden eyes as she waded thigh deep into a sparkling snow drift to retrieve a lance. Holding it under her armpit, Alexa pulled herself into Kehaar's saddle and urged him into a trot.
Feeling her excitement, and thrilled by the presence of the weapon he associated with hunting, Kehaar pranced giddily across the fields.
Alexa let him have the rein and they cantered the rest of the way to park.
Everywhere was playful chaos as goats dressed at reindeer ran about, horses gamboled in the frosty drifts and snowball fight erupted from the opposing teams.
Kehaar squealed indignantly when a frosty projectile caught him in the neck. Alexa laughed at his surprise and ducked a snowball herself. Once their joust was over, there'd be hell to pay, she promised silently with a grin.
For a moment the merriment of the crowd was contained and the jousting began. After watching 2 other horses succesful destroy their snowman, Alexa and Kehaar trotted up to the mark.
Down the line, a fearsome warrior stood ginning from atop his Carrot Unicorn. Kehaar trumpeted fiercely and pawed at the ground. Alexa held tightly to the reins in one hand and gripped the lance with her other.
Waiting for the judges signal, Kehaar was tensed and ready to charge. He bounced in place and chomped at the bit. Finally, Alexa gave him his head, gave him a firm kick and let out her war cry.
"FOR NARRNIA!!!!" Kehaar erupted forward and charged at the Smug opponent. Seconds before impact, Alexa squinted one eye shut and angled her lance for the snowmans chest.
The snowman exploded in a burst of cold fluff and Kehaar charged headfirst into the unicorn's shoulder.

Following the joust, Alexa had to to postpone her plans of snowy vengeance in search of some dry clothes and steaming cocoa...
